Immoscoop
Immoscope is one of the largest real estate websites in Belgium and now also accommodates private searchers, without burdening their core application.

About this project
Immoscoop grew into an established player in the real estate world, with more than 300 member brokers. To respond to the increasing demand from individuals, they wanted to expand their platform - without adding unnecessary complexity to their existing software.
The challenge
The existing platform was completely designed and built for the real estate agents. At the same time, there were more and more private individuals who wanted to put their property up for sale themselves. In order to serve this segment of the market as well, a management module was needed for individuals as well. However, the internal team dedicated to developing the core application did not have the capacity to develop this new, unproven module for private individuals. This inhibited growth opportunities.



The solution
In consultation with Immoscope's team, we built a separate microservice that integrates seamlessly with the existing platform via Single Sign-On (SSO). The new private flow follows the same house style, allowing users to experience one consistent platform. All data and information was also seamlessly linked to internal systems and Data Warehouse (Google BigQuery).
The result
Immoscope can now quickly experiment with private search without additional pressure on the core team. Adjustments and changes can be made quickly, also by the business users. The platform remains clear and user-friendly, all data is managed centrally and can easily be included in reports.
