A custom web and mobile application that digitizes underwater inspections. From inspection to finished report before the diver even steps out of his suit.
About this project
K&C Marine Contractors performs diving and underwater inspections on quay walls, locks, jetties, and harbors. They do excellent work, but their reporting was falling behind. Build More an app for the divers and a web platform for the admin team.
The challenge
Inspectors took notes on paper at the site and later typed everything into a Word template. Each inspector did it their own way, so no two reports looked the same. Expect half a day’s work per inspection, plus Word files scattered around locally alongside K&C’s Robaws projects.

The solution
A native iOS and Android app that allows divers to fill out their reports on-site, using modular templates created by the admin. Photos are annotated within the app, AI corrects free-form text and translates it if necessary. The admin monitors everything in a single dashboard, approves the reports, and delivers a PDF in K&C’s house style with a single click. Integration with Robaws ensures automatic synchronization of projects and clients.
The result
An inspection that used to take half a day to document is now complete by the time the diver has taken off his suit. Every report has a consistent format, the data remains within K&C, and the admin has a real-time overview of all ongoing tasks.

Conclusion
K&C is once again focusing on underwater work. Administrative tasks are handled on the boat.
