A custom ERP for rail cranes, sites and work orders
Planning, work orders, equipment management, transport and invoice prep in one system, built around how De Greef Spoorkranen actually works.

01
The challenge
De Greef Spoorkranen rents out rail cranes and related equipment for sites across Belgium. Every project means planning and tracking cranes, skips, containers, drivers, crane operators and hauliers. Plenty of moving parts, very little overview.
Planning ran through Excel, work orders on paper, changes over the phone. Site staff chased missing signatures, and hours regularly went missing at invoicing time. Off-the-shelf ERPs like Robaws and Timeking were looked at, and none of them fitted how De Greef Spoorkranen actually works.
02
Our approach
We built one platform holding every resource: cranes, skips, containers, staff and transport. Planners see availability in a single view, with automatic conflict detection.
Site staff fill in their work order on the mobile PWA and have it signed digitally on site. Hauliers get their schedule through a magic link, with no login. Equipment management tracks status, location and certificates.
03
The result
The planner has a live overview. Site staff work from their pocket. Admin groups work orders per client and pushes invoicing through to Billit, faster and without errors.
The spreadsheets and loose documents are gone.
In their words
We hebben andere platformen bekeken, maar niets paste op onze manier van werken. Nu wel, bedankt Build More!
From Build More
De Greef Spoorkranen had tried other platforms that always fell just short. So we sat down with them properly to understand how they work and built the system around that. The spreadsheets are gone and the site works from a pocket. A collaboration like that gives you energy.
