In Robaws you create a user with the "API only" box ticked. That one is free. You give it a role holding only the modules you want to open up, and create a key on it. We can do it together during a call if you like.

Frequently asked questions
What is the Robaws AI connector?
A connection between your Robaws and an AI assistant such as ChatGPT or Claude. You ask your question in plain language, the connector fetches the figures from Robaws and has them calculated there. You get the answer back in the conversation, with the names and amounts included.
Do I have to install software?
No. You get one URL that you paste once into the settings of ChatGPT or Claude. Nothing lands on your computer, no screen is added in Robaws and your team has nothing new to learn.
Does this work with ChatGPT and with Claude?
With both. The connector speaks the standard the two of them use for external connections, so you can add it in ChatGPT under connectors or in Claude as a custom connector. Cursor and comparable tools work too.
Can the connector change things in Robaws?
Only if you ask for it. By default it is read-only and the write functions are simply absent. If you switch writing on, it runs through a separate URL with a Robaws user of its own, every action first shows what it is about to do, and after your confirmation it lands in a log.
Who can reach my figures?
Only whoever has the URL. That URL is the key, so everyone gets a URL of their own and on our side we keep no more than an encrypted copy of your Robaws credentials. If a URL goes missing or someone leaves, we revoke that one and the others keep working.
Is my data used to train AI?
The connector sends your figures only into the conversation in which you ask the question. What the AI provider does with that conversation afterwards depends on your subscription with them. On a business subscription of ChatGPT or Claude your data is not used to train models by default. We train nothing on your data in any case.
Which questions can I ask?
Anything that sits in Robaws: clients, quotes, projects, work orders, hours, purchase and sales invoices, stock, maintenance and absences. Your question does not have to exist anywhere in advance. You ask it in your own words and the connector works out for itself where the answer sits and how it has to be calculated.
What if Robaws changes its API?
Then we adjust the connector. That is in the price. The connection is built from the official API description of Robaws, so following a change costs us little work and costs you no interruption.
Does this work on my phone too?
Yes. The connection sits with your account, not with your computer. Open ChatGPT or Claude on your phone and you can ask the same questions there. Handy on the way to a site or at a client.
Are you part of Robaws?
No. Build More is an independent software company. We built this connector on the public API of Robaws, with an API user that you create yourself and can revoke at any moment. Robaws stays your contract with Robaws.
What does it cost?
