Privacy and cookie statement

Version 1.1 · 6 August 2026

At Build More we attach great importance to your privacy and to the protection of personal data.

This statement explains how we handle your data, why we collect it and how we secure it when you visit our website or use our services.

What data we collect

When you contact Build More or use our services, we may process certain personal data.

We only do this when it is needed to help you properly.

This can involve the following data:

  • First and last name
  • Company name and address details
  • Phone number
  • Email address
  • IP address
  • Any other information you provide voluntarily yourself (for example through a contact form)

Why we use your data

Build More processes your personal data to:

  • Contact you (by phone or by email) following a question, a quote or a collaboration;
  • Perform an agreement or start a project;
  • Improve our communication and our services;
  • Comply with legal obligations.

The processing always takes place on the basis of a legitimate interest, your consent, or within a contractual relationship.

Data retention period

We do not keep your personal data longer than is necessary for the purpose it was collected for.

Data that is no longer relevant is deleted or anonymised in line with our internal retention periods.

Sharing data with third parties

We only share your data with third parties when this is strictly necessary, for example with:

  • Service providers that help us carry out our projects (such as hosting partners or IT support);
  • Public authorities where this is required by law.

With parties that process personal data on behalf of Build More, we always conclude a data processing agreement to safeguard your privacy.

Website visits and analytics

For general, anonymous visitor numbers we use Vercel Web Analytics. This service uses no cookies and keeps no persistent visitor code.

If you allow analytics, we also use PostHog EU Cloud. The following data can then be stored:

  • Time of the visit
  • Browser and device details
  • Pages visited, without search text or other data after the question mark in the URL
  • The website that referred you to us, without search text
  • Clicks on links and buttons
  • A random visitor code and session data in your browser’s local storage

Form content, session recordings and individual visitor profiles are switched off. We also ask PostHog not to keep IP addresses as part of an analytics event.

This information helps us improve the website. We do not sell this data.

Cookies and tracking technologies

We keep your analytics choice in your browser’s local storage for six months at most. This is needed to remember your choice. If you allow analytics, PostHog also uses that local storage for a random visitor code and session data.

  • Vercel Web Analytics: anonymous, aggregated visitor numbers without cookies;
  • PostHog EU Cloud: page and click measurement, only after you give consent;
  • buildmore-analytics-consent: your choice, six months at most.

You can refuse analytics and simply keep using the website. At the bottom of every page you can adjust your choice via “Cookie settings”. Also read the information from PostHog and Vercel Web Analytics.

Build More uses this information only to improve the website and our online communication.

Your rights

You have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or to have it deleted. You can also object to the processing or request data portability.

You can contact us about this at: info@build-more.be

We answer every request within a reasonable term (four weeks at most).

Security of personal data

Build More takes the protection of personal data seriously and applies technical and organisational measures to prevent misuse, loss and unauthorised access.

Our website is secured with an SSL certificate, so that all data is transmitted safely.

In the event of a data breach or a security incident, we report this to the competent authorities where legally required, and to the people concerned where necessary.

Changes

This privacy and cookie statement may be updated from time to time, for example to comply with new legislation or with changed working methods.

The most recent version is always available on this page.
