Do you think in terms of systems and architecture rather than individual features? We are looking for a Software Architect who can translate business goals into smart, scalable technical solutions.

At Build More , you Build More on a wide range of digital products for clients, from ambitious SMEs to large enterprise environments. You will help determine the technical foundations, make well-considered choices, and ensure that software not only works but is also ready for the future.

What you will do

  • Designing scalable and pragmatic software architectures
  • Translating business questions into smart technical solutions
  • Contributing ideas about data models, APIs, integrations, and system design
  • Contributing to projects from concept to launch

You understand how things are built and feel comfortable working in a small, fast-growing team.

Who we are looking for

You are someone who takes ownership and enjoys taking responsibility. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and communicate clearly, both technically and non-technically.

You also recognize yourself in several of these points:

  • You think in terms of systems and trade-offs, not dogmas.
  • You are hands-on and enterprising
  • You work in a structured but pragmatic way.
  • You are eager to learn and actively follow new technologies.
  • You are AI-savvy and see AI as an accelerator, not hype.
  • You feel comfortable in a fast-paced and changing environment.

Languages

  • English is a must
  • Dutch and French are a plus

Technical affinity

You don't need to know everything perfectly yet, but you are familiar with or curious about tools and concepts such as:

  • APIs and integrations
  • Modern frontend and backend architectures (React, React Native, Typescript, Next.js, Supabase)
  • AI-assisted development (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code)
  • Automation & integrations (e.g., n8n)
  • No-/low-code platforms such as Bubble.io (bonus, not a must)

More important than tools: you understand the underlying principles.

  • Approaching architecture purely from a theoretical perspective, without taking realistic deadlines or budgets into account.

This role is best suited to someone who likes to contribute ideas, take responsibility, and actively contribute to the direction and quality of what we build.
